As an affiliate chapter of OWIT International, we share the global organization’s mission. Locally, we fulfill this mission by:

 
• Sponsoring programs that feature an assortment of experts in the international trade and trade-related transportation fields.
• Offering a forum in which participants in the Hampton Roads international trade community can share ideas and exchange of information on issues impacting the region.
• Collaborating with other professional organizations to encourage the increased participation of women in international trade and commerce.
• Disseminating information about employment opportunities in the international trade field.
• Mentoring and supporting the professional development of students interested in pursuing careers in international trade and business.
